The Coffee of Justice

If there was one redeeming aspect of Carter street, it was 'The Cape's Coffeehouse' a cafe that was organized into a caffeinated version of a bar. Outside of the western style building that had been constructed during the formation of the city, this area had turned into more of a squalor than it already was now that the Hive had the Jump police force on its puppet strings. Even the warm morning sun failed to brighten the appearance of the burg that was filled with ratty convenience stores, apartments, and bored, unemployed denizens.

The Batjet quietly hovered down from above and dropped off the two advisors of the new hopeful team of crime fighters. They were used to night operations but the Titans were known for being an all purpose team that responded to all kinds of threats regardless of where or when. The two continued to exchange ideas and thoughts about their candidates as they waited for them to show up. Their appearance certainly attracted the focus of various eyes from store owners and customers that were shady as it was. It was too late to worry about that, they would have to deal with the fact that with the number of prospective Titans amassed it would seem like the street was being invaded by the beginnings of a cosplay parade.
