THE STORY:

The Division of Darkness, a final group of super villains created by Lex Luthor to completely undermine the reign of superheroes, had finally united all of the independent elements throughout the universe for a final attack on The Justice League. With the large amount of forces gathering, Thoughtbot picked up several various clues that brought the Justice League to high alert. Superman investigated and found that the head of Doomsday was missing. Fearing the worst Superman remained inside the core of the sun and trained for 2 years, anticipating the arrival of one of his most dangerous rivals.

While the Man of Steel used solitude as his strength, Doomsday was finding his own strength among his new allies. He was learning to work in a team and utilize his unique abilities in battle effectively. Instead of confronting Superman, he would focus on defeating the rest of the Justice League.

In the final battle, Doomsday and Superman cut swathes into the ranks of either sides. When the two finally square off, Superman has the upper hand but Doomsday did far more damage to the Justice League while Bizarro and Black Adam kept Superman at bay.

It was at this moment that the demon Neron approaches Doomsday the second time, the first being contacting him while his detached head was left to burn forever in the Earth's sun.

Doomsday had thought long and hard on what he wanted to ask for from the evil wish maker and requested in the midst of his battle for Neron to transform him into what he was truly meant to be. Amazed and delighted at the creature's request Neron transformed Doomsday into the ultimate life form which had the powers of Doomsday as well as other powers akin to a virus. Superman was overwhelmed and the rest of the combatants on the battlefield were overrun as well. Those who survived Doomsday were helpless in seeing his essence spread throughout Earth and destroy its population.

At this moment Batman and Zatanna activated their countermeasure they had prepared for demonic interference, while the team of younger heroes led by Raven bought them time. Martian Manhunter sacrificed himself to buy more time, and the whereabouts of Raven and Captain Marvel is unknown, however, they are presumed dead.

This countermeasure summoned Phantom Stranger, a strange entity of pure goodness that had spent eons protecting the Earth and its inhabitants from certain doom. Phantom Stranger thanked them for summoning him on such short notice as he was the only one who could do something about the Situation. Phantom Stranger froze time and, seeing as how his power fluctuated, figured that if he could do this, this was a new kind of threat.

He appealed to the Presence and Michael Demiurgos to do something about this and the two agreed to move the remaining heroes and the remainder of Earth's population to dimension zero, a universe extremely distant from the rest of reality with its own races and mysteries.

The Earth was moved but the memories of those on it remained. The battle had left only a few survivors of the Justice League, the most notable being the Bat Family, while the humans were left on another Earth in a system like the original but with slight differences.

Life went on without the influence of superheroes with the Bat family being and various other vigilantes being left to carry on without the Justice League. City-states arose due to the lack of population needed to sustain large countries but overall, the times were peaceful.

Batman, however, theorized that the new world was just as dangerous as the previous one and that sooner or later it would need new heroes to rise up and protect humanity. Seeing as how all of the experienced ones were gone, Batman opened the Titans Tower for new young applicants that might have special abilities that could be honed. A world begrudged by what superheroes and super villains had done the last time they tried to 'help' waits to see what it will make of this new breed of do-gooders...
